1909 Maybach - Motorenbau (Mercedes Car) Begining and History

The name Maybach comes after the German founder  Maybach-Motorenbau 

GmbH who made it to be a german luxury car in 1909-1940

 1909-1940 ,The company  made several cars even they have made engines for medium and heavy  german tanks in the world war in 1940-1945

1997 ,Daimler takes the chance to revive it again by purchasing the car brand and presented first concept design for it in Tokyo Motorshow

2002 ,They revealed the first production with 2 sizes Maybach 57 and Maybach 62 (Number refer to length in decimeters=5.7m long ,6.2m long)

Daimler have announced the cessation of the Maybach in 2013 because of two reasons

1 – The economical crisis since 2008, the company sold only till 2012 3,000 cars world wide

2 – The company failed to make distinct luxury car like Rolls Royce and Bentley, But it turned to be luxury car with poor driving experience than the Rolls and Bentley
